Our mission was to infuse the Princess Anne Hotel's storied legacy with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic while preserving its timeless charm.
Tasked with developing a new visual identity, design guidelines, and website, we embarked on a journey to honor the hotel's rich history while revitalizing its brand for modern audiences. Drawing inspiration from the hotel's iconic shingle-style architecture and its reputation as a haven for health seekers in Asheville's early days, we meticulously crafted design elements that pay homage to its heritage while reflecting its evolution.
Our design process began by immersing ourselves in the hotel's fascinating history, from its origins as a respite for tuberculosis patients' families to its transformation into a beloved landmark of Asheville. We then collaborated closely with the hotel's owners, to capture the essence of the Princess Anne experience and translate it into a cohesive visual identity. By blending vintage aesthetics with contemporary flair, we curated a palette of colors, typography, and imagery that evoke the hotel's timeless elegance and warm hospitality.
In parallel, we embarked on the development of a new website that serves as a digital gateway to the Princess Anne Hotel experience. Our goal was to create a seamless online platform that showcases the hotel's amenities, accommodations, and rich history while providing guests with an intuitive booking process. Leveraging cutting-edge design techniques and user-friendly functionality, we brought the Princess Anne's story to life in the digital realm, inviting visitors to embark on a captivating journey through its past and present. Through our collaborative efforts, we aimed to not only elevate the Princess Anne Hotel's brand presence but also to celebrate its legacy as a cherished destination in the heart of Asheville.
